Support independent living --- the Olmstead way
WHAT IS THE OLMSTEAD NETWORK?
The OLMSTEAD MISSIONS NETWORK was founded in 2005 with the goal to enhance the Supreme Court decision that states must provide least restrictive housing for persons with disabilities. Our Network provides services to disabled and elderly persons that need help to live, work, and play as independently as possible where they choose with dignity. Please take a minute and read the list below. Without your support, we can not continue to fund these programs. If you read the story of Bruce below, you will learn that he died because nobody wanted him. Bruce died without love or dignity. How many more human lives must die alone without love or dignity before we realize that all we have are each other.
The Olmstead Missions Network is a division of CONGRESS OF DISABLED PERSONS AGAINST EXPLOITATION.Read More...
